Overview
When needing to add an end date and/or inactivate a class. Reasons to add an end date is if the class is ceasing forever or level is changing (you will create a new class for the new level to maintain history). Waitlist swimmers need to be contacted to let them know this request is no longer available and offer to search for other options. Delete Waitlist requests.
Never delete the class; otherwise all swimmer history records will be lost.

The Hubbard Way
- Site Action Needed - If the class is no longer available to current waitlist swimmers, HFSS must notify the family they have been removed from this class via email. From the Student page, use "Discontinued Class- We have removed your waitlist request". In the body of the email, don't forget to include the day, time and level of the class being discontinued. One the email is sent then delete the corresponding waitlist requests.
- All students should have a drop date in the class and the class made inactive once the drop dates have passed.
- PRO TIP! From the Classes page search "end" to view all classes that are still active with an end notation. Make classes inactive that have no students enrolled.
