Daily Inspection of Pump Room

Confirm Deck has completed a check of the pump room and pool area. Alert the PRO of any issues

  • Alarms
    • ProMinent Controllers - Blue [OK] light is on
    • Miox System - Screen messages: [Running] / [Standby Tank Draining].
    • UV Controllers - Intensity above 5% on the display screen
    • VFD Drives - light is on
  • Tanks:
    • Miox Tank - MIOX solution in the tank should be at least 50% full.
    • Brine Tank - Salt level in the tank should never be below the Minimum Salt line. Add salt as needed.
    • CO2 tank - Should be at least 100 PSI on the gauge.
    • Slurry tank should be empty.
  • Look & listen for:
    • Leaks - Look for any leaks, report immediately to the Site Supervisor.
    • Unusual noises - Listen for whistling, screeching, rumbling, hissing or anything that does not sound like a normal running pump.
    • Unusual smells - chemical, rubbery, or smoke scents.

Pool Inspection

Inform PRO immediately if you see problems with any of these:

  • Water level:
    • Lack of consistent water flow over the edge into the gutter.
    • Water overflowing from gutters.
  • Water Clarity: Cloudy water & or not able to see the bottom.
  • Air bubbles: Bubbles coming from any area of the pool.

Equipment

  • ProMinent Controller
  • Miox Controller
In the event that the Miox system has been alarmed and is not running we will want to alert our SS and PRO. Common alarms are: [Hard Fault], [Tank Float Stuck], [Bad PS] and [Low Flow]. As there are others that may occur, the PRO will determine what action steps are needed to restore function of the Miox unit.
    • Reset the Miox Controller by turning the unit off for 30 seconds and back on via the back switch under the display.
    • Note the display screen message after the [Water on] countdown has ended to the PRO.
