Short Answer
No.
Based on our experience, trial lessons do not provide an accurate reflection of our swim program, your child’s swim abilities, and our instructors’ teaching skills. We would love to have you come to any of our locations for a tour and to observe lessons as they are occurring. We think you’ll love meeting our staff, and no appointment is needed!
The More You Know
New swimmers to our program are given time to acclimate to their new class, new instructor, and new experiences slowly in order to ensure that comfort in the water is achieved first and foremost. We want the opportunity to build a relationship with you and your kiddo over the course of time.
Sometimes followed up with "I only want to come 3 or 4 times".
We typically don't submerge our young swimmers or inexperienced until the 3 lessons to ensure comfort. In our experience, we find you will start to see improvements in your swimmer after 6-8 consistent lessons. If you think about it 3 classes is only 90 minutes of instruction time, which is not very long for a brand new skill.
Think outside the box: If kiddo wanted to be a decent or good at fill in the blank (piano player, soccer player, skateboarder, etc) would they be able to obtain those skills and show improvement in 3, 4, 15 lessons? Generally to learn a new skill takes time and repetition for children.
