Enrollment

Bookings can only be completed online.

If a parent cannot register online, the most common reason is that the child is too young. They may be entering the wrong birth year by mistake.

Employee Discount Code: EMPHSC See Swim School Employee Benefits for eligibility and pricing. Not available for Camp Employees.

100% Discount Code: GCHSC

Contacting A Camp Location

If arriving late or leaving early have the parent call the director once they are at location.

BEST PRACTICE:

Take parent info then contact the location by a warm transfer. If staff answers give information and transfer call. For unanswered call let the parent know we will be reaching out with this information for the camp to return the call. Leave message or text camp phone.

WHY?  You are in control of delivering the information and getting the parent a call back. This will help with parent frustration of not reaching someone right away. Let the parent know "our camp directors usually have 100 things going on so they don't always get to the phone right away, but I'll be sure they contact you back".

AZ Friends of Foster Communication & Directions

Hello Arizona Friends of Foster Families!

Camp Hubbard is gearing up for its 26th year of providing summer fun for kids in the Valley! Based on a traditional summer camp experience, Camp Hubbard loves teaching kids sports, playing games, dressing up for theme days, and making lasting memories for campers. We serve kids ages 4 ½ - 14 years old and offer weekly programming May 28th - August 2nd.

We are excited to announce, AZ Friends of Foster Children Foundation (AZFOF) will provide one week of summer camp for eligible foster children. Camp Hubbard would love to provide the best one-week experience for your camper! Please contact your caseworker to confirm your foster child’s eligibility and request funds. See below for how to reserve your spot.

We look forward to sharing an awesome summer experience with you!

How to Request AZFOF Funds:

  1. Verify with your caseworker eligibility & approval of funds.
  2. Our agreement with AZFOF states that they will fund one week per summer per eligible foster child. Please request the appropriate discounted amount of $375.
  3. Once your AZFOF application is approved, AZFOF will send a check to you since you’re the Guardian. AZFOF issues checks weekly.
  4. When your check is received write your child’s first & last name on the memo line to ensure it is applied to the correct camper.
  5. Checks can be mailed or dropped off at our Phoenix Hubbard Family Swim School location.

The Hubbard Way - FAQs

See additional FAQs on our Camp page

Why do we not have a location at New Way this year?

We had a great experience at New Way and will cherish our memories there. Now, we are excited for the beautiful spaces and convenient location of our new Biltmore Prep site. (Feel free to ad lib, but just something relatively positive about New Way and lots of excitement for the Biltmore Prep location)

Is there a waitlist?

We offer a waitlist for our campers. Inform families that it is common for a week to be fully booked. The only chance to be contacted is by registering on the waitlist. There is no cost to join the waitlist. The waitlist is checked daily, and families will be notified once a space becomes available. Capacity can be viewed at the bottom of the Dates & Prices page.

Will there be an in-person Open House?

We offer a virtual Open House on our webpage but will not be having an in-person Open House. https://hubbardsports.com/locations

Does Hubbard fingerprint staff?

No. We do not fall under state daycare licensing.

Does Camp Hubbard offer Scholarships?

Regrettably, we cannot provide financial assistance as we do not receive any funding from the government or external sources.

Does Camp Hubbard accept ESA?

Yes! Families can submit their receipts to ESA for reimbursement.

What if a family I have an interested family, but registration isn't open yet? How can I let them know when it opens?

Please take their first and last name, phone number, and email address and send this info to the camp email to follow up when registration opens.

Do we accept campers with special needs?

Depends. Have the family send their request through Contact Us from the Camp website with full details.

Do we ever allow age exceptions for kids under 4 1/2 years old?

We will consider an exception if the camper turns 4.5 by August. Have the family send their request through Contact Us from the Camp website with full details.

What if a camper is running late?

No worries! When the family gets to camp, the director's phone number will be listed to call when they arrive.
