Short Answer

Baby Splash a caregiver/parent and child class. You choose the day/time that works for you and then come each each week until you give us notice of your drop or your child turns 6 months. Caregivers learn proper hand holds, correct body positions, and how to teach their child to be comfortable in the water. Our exercises teach the babies to trust the water - we allow them to float freely and comfortably, to kick, splash and move in the water; to feel their buoyancy and balance in a warm and comforting environment. The More You Know

Baby Splash is a water acclimation class for infants ages 2 to 5 months that meets once a week for a half hour. A caregiver gets in the water with their baby and we focus on getting babies and adults comfortable in the water. We'll teach you different activities to take home with you to use in the tub or backyard pool... the water provides a unique environment which allows children to move in ways they cannot yet on land which helps with muscle development. We work on a ton of skills in the water, including backfloats, hand placement, body position for babies and developmental activities like tummy time, weight bearing, tracking of the eyes and fine and gross motor skills such as grasping and reaching for toys, and sweeps through the water. It's a fun class to bond with the child and it's a great time for socialization for caregivers as well as babies. You pick a day and time that works best for your schedule and that is your time each week, you OWN that spot until your kiddo turns 6 months. At that point, you'll transition into a Little Snapper 1 class which is where we start to work on underwater acclimation!

Baby Splash is a free class with a one-time joining fee (see website for current pricing fee). We offer this class 30 minutes once a week to swimmers 2 months through 5 months old. It is a caregive participation class that will begin to acclimate your baby to the water. The skills you are taught can be practiced at home in the bathtub as well.

Remember to mention cloth reusable swim diapers are required for children under 3 years old.
