During the week prior, General Managers (or a designated staff member) are responsible for preparing materials.
- Speech printed for SS team and Baby Teacher
- Safety Week signs posted - front, wet and dry door
- ColorING sheets and crayons for the lobby.
- “Safety Week Coloring Contest” sign posted
- ColorED sheets printed on waterproof paper for instructors to review in the pool
- Safer 3 costumes should be available AND encouraged to be worn
- If available, Safety banners displayed in lobby

- Children can submit 1 coloring sheet to FD.
- Child’s name and age on coloring sheet
- Our staff hangs them neatly across the top of the big glass wall, starting in the middle and working outward. (tip… roll tape and put it on the back of paper to avoid having pieces of tape that need to be peeled off later.)
- HFSS team on the last shift of the week picks the winners. Put an Awesome ribbon on “winner” coloring sheet(s). Winners get prizes.
- Keep all sheets up for at least one week after winners are picked.
May 11, 2025 Sheets due. Winners are selected.
May 19, 2025 Sheets taken down.

Nope - crooked, corners curled, ripped
“Safe” means you are free from risk of harm or danger. When it comes to water, that simply isn’t true. There is always risk when you are in, on or around the water. The risk may vary in degree from very slight to very severe. The letter “r” in the word “Safer” reflects that difference.
