Overview
This is notation to help guide families to waitlist for more classes especially when those selected have a lengthy waitlist. This is not a perfect system and numbers change daily so they not match perfectly.
We note classes that have 5 or more waitlist requests by adding or removing information from the Dynamic Class Name.
There are 2 processes to complete the name check.
Review occurs:
- Weekly March - August
- Bi-weekly or monthly September - February
PART 1
Classes Indicating a Waitlist
Classes > Search “waitlist”
Check Number of Requests
Look for classes that no longer have 5 swimmers on the waitlist.
NOTE: Classes that are a negative due to a block we will include as the waitlist count. Jellyfish has 4 blocks + 1 waitlist
Remove Waitlist Notation
For those classes that no longer have 5+ on the waitlist we will remove the class dynamic name.
Edit > Deselect Override Dynamic Class Name > Save & Close
Exception to the rule is Baby Classes with a max number indication. We will delete the waitlist note and leave the rest.
PART 2
Add Waitlist Notation
Don't forget to reset your filters
Classes > All Availability Filter: Has Waitlists
Check Number of Requests
Look for classes that have 5+ swimmers on the waitlist.
NOTE: Classes that are a negative due to a block we will include as the waitlist count. Jellyfish has 4 blocks + 1 waitlist
Add to Class Dynamic Name
For those classes that have 5+ on the waitlist we will add the class dynamic name as follows:
- 1-4: no notation
- 5-9: [waitlist 5+]
- 10-14: [waitlist 10+]
- 15-19 : [waitlist 15+]
Edit > Deselect Override Dynamic Class Name > Save & Close
Exception to the rule is Baby Classes with a max number indication. We will delete the waitlist note and leave the rest.
