"Fast Lane" check-in and iPad info

Philosophy: 

We have the “fast lane” kiosk to give families another option to check-in. If our staff is occupied or stepped away, families can utilize the “fast lane” kiosk. Or a family just might prefer it. Their choice. Explaining this option to parents should be included as part of the NE tour. And it may help kids learn their parents phone numbers;)

Greeting a family is still extremely important! We still have the opportunity to “Make Their Day!” with a smile and joyful greeting. We are assisting them with the “Fast Lane” or we check them in face-to-face. It’s a balance where we do not abandon the FD nor do we manually check in every swimmer.

Language:

As families walk in, we greet them and read the situation. Let them choose. If they are not yet familiar with “Fast Lane”, take a moment to explain it to them.

“We have a check-in kiosk for you to use. If we are occupied or if we’ve stepped away, go ahead and check yourself in. You can enter your phone number that’s on your account or use the QR code in your Customer App. Then grab your child’s bracelet and go swim!”

After logging into the app, click “account” - “QR Codes” - “auto-generated code” under Family QR Code.
